The Appendix 3 IREM Examination will be held by Indian Railways on April 15 and 16 through a computer-based test. This test is an important step toward getting promoted to senior positions like Senior Section Officer/Accounts (Sr.SO/Acs), Senior Inspector of Station Accounts (Sr.TIA), and Senior Inspector of Stores Accounts (Sr.ISA).

Indian Railways Appendix 3 Eligibility
The only people who can apply are those who have passed the exam in Appendix 2 for promotion above the rank of Clerks Grade II or who were excused from passing that exam. Also, applicants must be full-time employees of the railway with at least 5 years of continuous work, or 3 years for recent college graduates.
Important Steps to Follow:
The last day to see if you are eligible is February 20, 2024. Boards must send in the names of candidates for the test, along with their choice of language (Hindi or English). There are minimum qualifying marks for both the individual and the combined papers, with some exceptions for SC/ST applicants. For scores of 60% or higher, you don’t have to take the test again, but you can only do it five times.

- Day 2 (April 16) Paper 2 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
