CGPSC Selection Process
The selection process will be done in three stages:
- CGPSC Prelims Exam:
- The very first phase of the recruitment process is the preliminary round.
- The 400 mark preliminary exam consists of two different papers, i.e., papers 1 and 2, with 200 marks each.
- A selection list for the main (written) examination shall be prepared on the basis of the total marks obtained in Paper 1.
- CGPSC Mains Exam:
- Those applicants who clear the preliminary exam take the main exam.
- The Written Examination will consist of seven papers, which will total of 1400 marks.
